As promised...



Open it up.



Take out the whole assembly.



Exploded.



Throw everything away besides the plunger chamber (the first air-restrictor piece is glued in, atleast on mine). Then fill in the sides of the orange piece at the end with plumbers goop.



Then drill out the middle. You might want to leave a little bit more on the sides than I did, just to make the next step easier, and to ensure you don't shove a dart into the plunger chamber.



Now take a ~1" 9/16" brass stub and glue it into the AR-piece you just drilled out. If you left a little more on the side this will ensure you don't shove it too far into the plunger chamber.




Now you can add a 17/32" brass barrel, I recommend 4", and either glue it in or leave it removable so you can rear-load it.

Now take out the plunger rod.



You can add any spring or replace it, but I just added a tek-1/6/10 spring.



I also added some e-tape underneath the o-ring to make a better seal, about half way around.



I also minized the shell, which is extremely easy and looks very good. Almost like it was meant to be.

I put hot glue here to disperse the stress.

Now it's a pretty good sidearm! I love the way it is minimized, and it feels very powerful. I'm working on a custom holster. Ranges aren't bad. Without a mini-bungee I'm getting 35'-45' at most, and with bungee I consistently hit 50', sometimes going over 65' (windy, but still pretty good). These include dart skip, but that's pretty minimal (they just fell and stayed).

Thanks guys. Just for future reference though, wait until I have a "finished internals" and "closed up"/finished picture. That is if I keep making them at this rate .

I'm currently working on this odd gun I found at Ocean State Job Lot, hopefully it'll be cool.

I replaced my spring with a TTG spring. I know what you mean when you say it feels powerful.

I didn't replace the barrel though.

Do you recommend brass or CPVC for the disk shot?

I don't hav eany more spare TTG springs, but they definitely would work well, probably better than an ace 49 because they're longer (doesn't rattle around after each shot).

I'd recommend brass, mainly because you can't coupler this gun well. If you don't have access to brass, or just can't afford it, CPVC would work fine. In my experience brass is just more reliable.

Jeez man, with as many write ups as you get, you will become a contributer. Gotta ask you though, with all the modding that you've done, you have any spare parts left over that are useful? I bet you could make a complete gun with all the left overs

I've brassed two of my disk shots. I nested the brass in the original barrel but, yours is a hell of a lot cleaner than mine. Nice mod!

I'm impressed by how the minimization turned out! I also like what you did with the hot glue at the front of the plunger tube; I rarely think about the stress on that piece.

You'd have to Dremel out part of the case to make room for the coupler.

Pred: I don't really have any left over pieces, just cut off barrels and stock ones. Some old springs and such, but nothing that could really be used for anything but ammo holders, or a spring replacement for an extremely crap gun.

Dayko, like Green said you'd have to dremel room for it, and cut the shell so you could use staggered barrels (speedloader) and make it easier to reload, and that just ruins the look. I have alot of primaries which have high ROF now, so all I really need is a single shot sidearm. On guns like the NF which you can coupler relatively easily without completely destroying the shell, I like using CPVC couplers, but I already have plenty of those. This was going more towards ease of use, aesthetics, and clean minimization. Thank you, btw.

Thanks! The minimization is really what makes me lean towards this rather than the NF. I'm probably going to get a couple more sometime, and definitely a few if they ever go on sale.

Thanks! I don't really expect to be a Contributer; these are pretty "basic" mods, and I'm nowhere near on par with Forsaken, CS, or Carbon. Carbon has been a Contributer for a while, earlier than 06' I believe (don't quote me, I haven't been around for that long).Thank you though, I try my best.

Ranges when I get home, I'll get some for with and without a bungee. I'll get pics of the bungee on, too.

I think Carbon joined in 06. Nice mod nonethe less. But, couldn't you use 17/32 brass as the coupler and 9/16ths as the barrel, to act as a removeable nested brass barrel?

Yeah, you could. I said (I believe) in the write-up that you could either make it removable or glue it in. I chose to glue it in.

So, yes, you could. Whatever suits you, I guess.

Green: Yeah, It's definitely a plus over the NF. It makes it look so much nicer, and makes it look so much neater than the NF. Making a holster for it would also be alot easier.

Thank you for your mods. I'm gonna go pick up a Disk Shot, and mod it with the 10' of PVC I bought at Home Despot (not a spelling error). Not the whole 10', mind you, but roughly say, 4" with nested crayola.
