you will be making this:
Posted Image
into this:
Posted Image

you will need:
9/16 brass
sealant (hot glue or instead use plumbers goop for better results)
spy gear signal launcher.
(optional finishing nails, 1 inch pvc)
step 1: Cut the barrel just below the + on the top.
step 2: Cut a 1 foot lenght of 9/16 brass.
step 3:Put some of your sealant in several circles on the barrel up like so.
Posted Image
Step 4: push your barrel down the stock barrel as far as you can (mine wouldn't go further than 3 inches from the back of the barrel.)
Step 5: put some hot glue along the top to stablize it and your done. You should be getting 120 ft ranges and it should be silenced for reasons i don't understand ( probably long barrel) that was an accidental benifit.

Great job! How is the accuracy with the funky trigger?

Don't want to shove balls in tight spaces. Trust me, bad idea.

You should try pumping the plug on that thing. Nice mod too.

I think you mean, "plugging the pump", pumping the plug sounds totally different. But does'nt that thing cost $20? And is it accurate with those sights you put on the top? (If they are even sights.)

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

Nice job. I seriously just bought and modified that gun today. I think that crazy long brass barrel is a wee bit excessive though. I slapped a coupler on it and have been using an 8 inch barrel. I've been getting similar ranges. Taking it to a war tomorrow actually.

Keef isn't the only one who's made that mistake. Plenty of people on the boards say it frequently.

Looks good though. They do still sell these in stores, and the only complaint I have about it is the funky trigger. It is usable and you could get used to it pretty fast.

The only problem I can see is that you would have to push the dart all the way down the barrel with something. Otherwise nice first mod, and welcome to NerfHaven!

Couldn't you cut a slot in the red section and easily make a breach?

All, this is not my 1st mod on the haven (triple strike mod) this gun is about $15 at my local target, yes this is very accurate, and I am not going to make a breech because that would interfere with its being silenced. (although I plan to 2k turret this.) and you would not be able to make a breech with the stock barrel because it is not tight enough on the brass i used you would need to buy another size of brass to fit over the size I used.
I have also named this gun, I call it.......Wahoo.

Wow I'm so popular! Stop it, really.

I like the mod, it looks like a pistol big blast.
Can you take a pic of the internals so I could compare?

Also, how many pumps until the over pressure release valve starts sounding?

Back when Dark Shrimp posted a picture of his modification of this blaster, I asked him for a comparison (via PM). Here is what he said:

The air tank is identical to one in a big blast. The pump is attached to the tank by a tube just like most other air guns. The valve has a regular pin in it which must be pulled back to fire. So it is like a lever.

The pump is smaller than a big blast's so I'd say 20 pumps if it's plugged.

I was thinking that this is ideal for integrations since the pump isn't fixed to the back of the valve.

To clarify the last sentence of his first paragraph:
I asked if it was a push button valve, or if the button on the outside of the shell somehow pulled an Airtech-like valve pin. The answer, as you can see, was the latter.

By the way, I saw them at Target a little while ago on temporary price cut to $15. That might be over by now, though...

I didn't even plug mine and I'm getting acceptable ranges with 10 pumps. 15 does give it the extra oompf in range but I'd say the valve kicks in at around 20 pumps.

What ranges are you getting and is yours silent like mine?

I'm out shooting my crossbow with it. Didn't officially range test it but I don't think I need to. It's not silent, but it really isn't loud either.

Mine is silent, I think it is the long barrel. I don"t have a crossbow  so i don't know if it out shoots it.

This is seriously looking at me to be cut down, and made into a pistol.

Does the trigger pull the pin as fast as a Big Blast, or no?
