I just picked up a hornet and was wondering how many times I should pump it after pluging it.

Honestly, as long as you don't go much over 40 you'll be safe. 20 usually works quite nicely, mine getting about 70' (I think, don't quote me on this.), but if you want totalitarian ouchness, go for 35, I shot my self with forty pumps in the stomach, and I left me with a welt for a good month.
