You can hacksaw it open. DO NOT cut through the pump though.

I remember reading a question about this and someone said to "Rip that shit out" or something. Which is what I did, it actually worked. All I did was pull the two halves apart. Not as clean as hacksawing but much funner.

I usually heat up a butter knife over the stove, and that works just fine. Just be careful not to go too far in!

You can just crack it. Sometimes, you get lucky and it just slides right out. Just unscrew it, lift one sie and pull back.

Hey, Nerfboi, you don't have to star out cusses, especially only 'hell'. But anyway, what you should do, is take a large flathead screwdriver, get it under the piece, and then take a hammer, and hammer against the end of the screwdriver, and move it around, and then just pry it off. But trust me, it is not a good idea to heat a butter knife on the stove. It just is'nt smart. You don't want to just melt it.
It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

Like most materials, you will also get good results by bending it back and forth, back and forth. A paperclip will snap when you bend it too much, and I've noticed that when you try to tear plastic stuff like anti-mod glued in nerf parts, you can usually "tear that shit out" but bending it back a couple of times results in a cleaner tear, because it stresses the point that is being warped so that it gets weaker.
