Or the people buying the RC's are using standard streamlines and are angling it at a 45 degree angle. I really like the look of stumpy.

Only in regards to being full of shit.I guess he's got you beat slug
Well after looking some more, said scammer is making upwards of 170 dollars on each "100 foot" Recon with 100% positive feedback. So either the people who buy from him are to stupid to actually measure or the recon has some hidden potential. After talking to him, he claims that he put one spring in the stock and added a second spring to the inside with the original. I thought that was already dismissed as impossible but who knows
Chances are high that if people are dumb enough to pay that much for a recon, they are dumb enough to think it is that great. If they knew anything about modification, they would do it themselves and save about $100. I hate when people fudge the truth in order to sell something. He probably assumed that you didn't know what you were talking about, so he said there were two spings inside the actual gun, or he may have added and extra "spring" that would do the same thing as what the guy on here did with stereo wire. I also doubt that people actual measure the distance. People on here are modders and claim to get 40-50' with nitefinders that just have an ar removal, so someone that has no idea is going to be like "ZOMG!!!111!!1 it sh00tzord so far lol!".

With a 3-inch PETG barrel I'm getting at best 40 feet. Which is much more reasonable, but I still don't really like this thing.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?
