Wow, the internet is positively FULL of April fool's jokes today. I've been visiting all of my favorite websites, and nearly all of them have elaborate jokes posted on them. Especially on youtube, lots of popular users are posting joke-videos. Not only that, but if you click on any of the featured videos on the front page, you get rick rolled in the face.

So, being that today is April Fool's day, are we to believe anything else VACC posted about prizes, cooperation, etc.?
There are reasons to believe either. For one, VACC is a self-proclaimed "asshole." And what is more asshole-ish than to offer a prize to the young and inexperienced and then rip it out from underneath them?
On the other hand, VACC recently began to post on HQ and may have decided that collaboration would be beneficial for the Haven and the NIC at large.
So which is it? Only time will tell.

You know, I thought at first that it was a joke, that spanky would just up and sell the site, but then I saw VACC's profile info on the topic, and it said, "webmaster" highlighted in blue, so then I thought, holy shit, maybe Spanky did sell the site to VACC. And more importantly, now where will the I hide from VACC! But then I saw the last post, and I saw that it was a joke. Wheww..

The best part about that is that Falcon perpetuated that joke without even knowing if VACC's takeover of HQ was legit or not.

PS... did anyone catch the thing I pointed out about the dark side having dental? it was actually a callback to a previous discussion with "Darth VACC"

Anyone remember the april fool's joke that Nerf Online did years ago? Come on, anyone?

They joked about Hasbro not letting them use the word "Nerf" in their site name. They even went so far as to replace the site's normal logo for the day. It definitely had people going. Gotta love April fool's!

I think there was at least one more, I don't know who it was, but the deletion came amazingly quickly. It was like Houdini: <refresh> Now you see it <refresh> now you don't.

Oh god, no don't waste your time. The idea that i cared or would waste my time on that testament to failure was my own little April fools joke to counteract the incredible lameness of theirs. Unfortunately nerfhq had the final laugh this April 1st in that the site simply does not have enough active members to care, let alone be disapponted by my false endorsement. It is a sad sad place.
