Hey everyone, I just wanted to know what new music that's come out that you all like. Remember I'm just looking for new stuff so I'll say anything before 2006 year is considered old. I really like Sixx A.M. and Empty Walls by Serj Tankian. There's some other stuff but I can't think of it right now.

Say anything is really good too, pop-punk I guess.
Daughtry is the best guy singer out now, besides for this guy.

Its weird because I like mathcore and shit.

Meh, I can't get too excited about new music. I love Bartok, Debussy, and Stravinsky, but I won't touch anything more modern.

I pretty much scorn new bands. I might be able to get into "empty walls", but I can't agree that it is a song because of the simple fact that it has like 10 lyrics. Sixx A.M. is awful, I think. All new bands sound almost exactly the same. They usually have some sort of acoustic guitar part in the song, then the rest is power chords, and then a 5 note solo. Black Tide is the only exception I can think of off the top of my head. They are pretty great.

The only new stuff out that I like at all is Serk Tankian's album. I'm a die-hard SOAD fan and that was pretty welcoming. Other than that, I hate mainstream/modern music. I listen to a lot of what Angel listens to.

Why on earth would you shun any bands or albums that came out before 2006. That is one of the most ignorant thigns I have ever heard. You want to be introduced to some new music and you close 95% of the possibilities.

Wow, do you know what classic means? AC/DC is classic rock. They started in 1970. Beat it is from the 80s. It is from when Michael was black and awesome.

I guess I'm alone when it comes to black or death metal? I'm talking Behemoth, Amon Amarth, Dethklok, The Autumn Offering, Ash and Elm (Local), and older Metallica, which I know isn't too hard.

I agree with bomberman, but I hate death metal vocals. There are lot of great death metal guitarists that I really like, but I can't stand screaming and growling vocals.
