Only the lucky few have a selection of thrift stores with which to source older Nerf items at unfairly low prices.

If you have the money and the patience to bid on Ebay, do it. NH, is good for trading older blasters and if you find a gun at a garage sale, get it. They're a lot cheaper there and can work well or be a nice parts gun.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. A good nerf gun is like a good woman. It shouldn't require extra lubrication.

That's not true, it just depends on the store management. Ontario Nerfers find all kinds of Nerf guns at a wide variety of thrift stores at really cheap prices. So, the only way you can get old guns from thrift stores is if you know someone who works there.

do they have value villages in florida? i might update so be on the lookout.
Negative. We do have goodwills and such, at least in Gainesville (central florida) we do. To what part of florida are you heading?
I have to agree that yard sales are a good place to hunt. Just yesterday I picked up a wildfire, RF20, and a Powerclip for a dollar a piece at a yard sale.

They have EVERY thrift/ flea market store around. At least one in EVERY shopping center, no lie. I just went a month ago, but saw no blasters at the store I went to.
