Hey NerfHaven, I've made a couple posts while I've been here but nothing really cool or inspiring, so I’m hoping that this will be both!

Without further adieu I present the BBB (Big Bad Blaster)!

Looks cool, have you tried longer barrels or do you use stock darts?

Only other thing is to paint it all one color theme

Yeah definately use longer barrels unless you use stock darts and paint it one color. That must be a bit front heavy so I must ask how does it feel? Altogether pretty cool.

It is preety front heavy, but its only like two pounds total(what it feels like). The barrels were for stock darts but i do have longer barrels for stefans that are 4' .They're really cool clips and probably triples the ROF.

4' barrels are way too long for any nerf gun. BBBs usually need around 1'.

I think he means that the stefans are 4'. He is using it as a spear gun. Ok, now I have that out of my system. I have heard that the "magic" length for most bbbs is 9".

Oh. My. God. YES!

You have just given me the base gun for my DTB! God... I just couldn't seem to find a good one...

Great job, and you have my sympathies for that horrendous paint job.

Oh, and PS get your abbreviations right. " is inches. ' is feet.

With a different PJ,that is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Nice work! :D !
By the way....How 'bout some ranges?
PS: You've given me a reason to use my DTBs.

It is pretty ugly, but it looks like it works. May I ask, how do you cock the DTB? Do you just cock the DTB on its own, or does the DTB cock while yo cock the BBB? Well, I mean, do you hold the cocking mech on the DTB, and then cock the BBB and that cocks the DTB aswell? What types of ranges do you get with the BBB, and what range with the DTB?

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

I like it, nice job. Although it does need a new paintjob or at least have matching paint jobs.

Pretty nice. It looks awkward to hold and shoot but whatever works for you. Personally, if I were to do this (believe me I've imagined it), I would somehow get the trigger infront of the BBB's trigger.

Like others have said longer barrels would be the way to go.

I have four inch barrels not fout feet. They would be matchingif I still had some krylon white &green, but wateva it's awesome. I'll test ranges later i dont really have a good testing area now but on estimate it looks about 45-65 and the dtg 25-40 but im not so sure. I'll post updated pics later once I get around to painting and refining it.
EDIT: I'm not going to change the trigger placement because if the bbb is cocked you can usethe bbb handle as a stock. You still cock itby the charging handle so its kinda like Of All's Ls DTG (thanks by the way for the inspiration.)

Well I've had a few wars with this thing and it is my new primary! It holds up really nice and it is very durable. Also i would like to say that if you put the downsizing coupler on make sure you use something other from hot glue.

You should DEFINITELY put some longer barrels for your BBB clip. Use about 9-10" of CPVC or PETG, and it will increase your range considerably.

I'm thinking about making this. What adhesive did you use to glue them together? Would hot glue work?

A crapload of it would. Thats what i used to mound a titan inside of pvc onto my longshot... and thats crazy heavy.

I think the paintjob is ballin' I would throw on some blue or light-brown camo stripes for appeal though. Still, very nice.

Jollex: I would not recommend hot glue. Invest in epoxy, superglue, or JB Weld. It is an investment you will not regret. It can also be used effectively on a wider range of items then hot glue...

Don't use hotglue or superglue to mount the DTG on the bottom. I tried mounting my nf on my BBB and used super glue it didn't hold, neither did hot glue.

So far, hot glue has survived multiple shots from the bbb and the dtg. Very little hot glue actually.
