I looked to see if that would work better than a cf since i have an extra scout shell and i dont really think it will fit... Good luck though.Any idea how to get that nice, neat square hole in the back for the plunger rod? I'm planning to make a Scout-finder this summer for the hell of it.

It will barely fit in a Mav. It definitely won't fit in a Scout without some work. I'll need to cut panels out of the side of the main scout and glue the cocking slide in place over them. I've worked it out; it should just barely fit inside the slide.I looked to see if that would work better than a cf since i have an extra scout shell and i dont really think it will fit... Yeah, that was when I first had the idea. I didn't have a chance to work on it last summer, but I've collected the parts and done most of the planning. I'll definitely post when it's done.I guess you've already seen this, seing as it is in one of your past threads.
