Anyone who actually wants to see them should try copying the url into their browser. Good job, looks like a successful simple ball valve homemade. Feel like posting any range results or pump #s?

the range on this gun is more than 100 ft with 10 pumps. I have not measured exactly yet but I know for sure it over 100 ft.

LOL, thats funny. 3DBBQ, all you have to do is copy the URL, and post in address bar, that should get it to work.

congrats on your homemade superintendent. Although, I have one critiscm... In my opinion your barrel is way too long, I would shorten it to about 6-8 inches. When the barrel gets too long, PVC starts to bend, and decreases your range a lot, cuz the dart slides along the bend. Other than that, its great.

nice. i like the noncylindrical/nonsphericalnot round endcaps and reducer systems. Ay, dat is one loong barrel, lad. Howver, that could be easily remidied, as if s long as the barrel wasn't glued into the adapter, it should be removable.

Ya Im definetley going to cut the barrel down, its way too long. Thanks alot for all ur help.

Just don't follow the 6-8 inches suggestion. If you cut it down too much you'll lose power and accuracy - it has to be matched to the air tank volume.

That gun looks like it holds enough air to make use of about 2 feet of barrel.

Hell, I had to go from 12" to 14" on my 5k to avoid fishtailing and the tank on that is tiny compared to a homemade.

Yeah but the pressure is probably greater on the 5k, considering that he only pumps it ten times and the volume on that thing is rediculous.

If he's getting around 100' then I suspect the pressure is adequate. Perhaps not what you can cram into a 5k but certainly enough, at that volume, to support a 24" barrel.

Last night I measured the guns range more accurately and it was about 150 give or take.
