I, like sam, did some modding over my spring break...

Here's my Ls (mod seen here)I cpvc'd it and singled it/ as always the ar's are out and new spring.



My sm3k crayola's nested in pvc/ ar's removed and pump plugged.


At2k's pump plugged/ singled/ barrel replacement...


Nf ppk'd new spring/ar's removed/new barrel/painted.


Not bad for me...so, any comments, questions, flames?

Did you replace your LS's spring? If so, with what?

You singled a Longshot? Why not just get a BBB/LBB/Titan? I mean, the clip system isn't perfect but breech mods/replacements are well-documented and available here, and you get much better ROF with good ranges for a primary.

Quick question... Why are both the 2k barrels angled up?

Most to all 2k's barrels are angled because of the placement of the tank, its right in the spot thats wrong.

A LS sucks dude, they skin darts, get bad ranges, are loud, and so on and so forth. I thought it was the shit with a BBB spring in it, but its really inconsistent and annoying.

Nice mods, I guess. I wouldn't of done that to ANY of my blasters, but they are yours...

Min.tee: I singled my ls because 1) I couldn't find any brass 2) I knew i'd mess it up big time 3) It's fine for where I play.

Keef: I like the longshot I think it looks cool you may not like it but I do...and as for the mods I did my best at my skill level with what I had on hand.

My friend has a singled LS. He attached a 6x scope with red/ green illuminated crosshairs to the top. He climbs into the treehouse in a ghille suit and snipes people...

Maybe you just have not encontered a good one yet. My Longshots and Lancers do not skin darts because of the breech, the range is on average 85-95', is not loud because of the plunger cushion and proper spring choosing. Maybe you should build a good one before criticizing all Longshots in general.

They're some old little stick on things I got with something from my aunt they come in handy...but no if my painting skills were that good I would be painting all my guns.
