Nitefinder.

Cheap, fast, easy, and effective.

Supplys are usually outlined in whichever writeup you follow.

Either the NiteFinder or the DiscShot expansion pistol. Those two are probably the cheapest and easiest to mod at the moment. However you won't be able to do the same mod here http://nerfhaven.com...ags_nitefinder/ if you don't have any petg. I think you can order some petg from One Man Clan however I've never done that process due to the fact I'm not into nerf as much as before. With the Nitefinder or the DiscShot you actually don't have to replace the barrel if this is your first mod. You can leave the stock barrel in place with just the air restrictors removed.

Different bodes, DS= more powerful spring, but more money, NF= cheaper, comes with "laser" thing. I personly would recommend the DS.

I'd say nitefinder, disk-shot, or any other simple, single shot spring pistol you have.

Its not that much more. Also, the DS has five ammo holders, and looks cleaner when minimized. Some people say the DS handle is smallish. Posted ImagePosted Image

The internals are basically the same. It's just like how some people think that different colored NF's go farther. I modded two NF's at the same time exactly the same and one goes farther. They are he same version and color. Things just happen.

A Nitefinder is probably the most accessible, but I would actually recommend an air gun. You learn the basics about the benefits of plugging the pump, and you will see more dramatic range increases if you mod something like an Airtech 2000. My first mod was actually a singled Titan, but you don't have to go out and get one of those as your first project.

Definetly a NiteFinder. Nothing should pop out at you when you open, MAYBE the plunger catch, but usually not. It's simple, the plunger and spring are in a self-contained cylinder which you can easily take out and work on seperately. And with some modest modding you can hit 50-60feet easily.

Nitefinder is the best as a starting nerf gun to mod. But the SSPB air gun is also a good one too. Replacing the barrel is very easy with an SSPB, while removing the AR for a NF is extremely easy too.

If you accidentally clock somebody with a doubleshot, then you're more liable to break the doubleshot than you are to cause serious injury.

PM me if selling a NIB or LNNB LnL.

Personally I would go for the Nitefinder and AT2k, only because those are the two classic GOOD blasters, but If your not planning on singling the AT then I would go for the AT3k set.

The NF vs. DS has already ben discussed, so that one is up to you. I would personally say single a 2k (turrets don't like me), but again the choice is yours. The 2k has range the 3k has ROF, 2k is smaller ad has a less comfortable handle, but the 3k is considered by some to be bulky.

The NF or Diskshot (I prefer the DS because of sexiness and how much cleaner it looks) would be a very good starter secondary/spring powered blaster. If you want a good primary, get either a Maxshot or an Airtech 2000. The maxshot is easy to mod in that you really only need to put a coupler on it and the 2K is a nice and simple gun which gets kickass ranges when modded. Out of the two, I would recommend the Maxshot because of the small amount of AT2Ks in stores nowadays and the ease of modification.

For a starter primary, DO NOT go with a Longshot. Ranges are very inconsistent when modified and it's really only useful in war situations if you put some better springs and an Angel Breech in it. Plus the large amount of small vital parts makes it a very frustrating thing to work on and keep track of. I took most of the un-needed stuff out of mine to put in an Angel Breech and a kickass integration into the bipod area (y'all will see in a while). All in all, keep your longshot stock until you think you can mod it.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. A good nerf gun is like a good woman. It shouldn't require extra lubrication.

I think he gets it, a NF. I still cringe when talking about my LongShot. Seriously, bad idea. I do find that my Nf has a longer range than my Ds even when i modded the both.

My easiest mod was my LBB. I only removed the peg, but it can get close to 65-70 ft with good darts. And it is REALLY accurate even with a short barrel. In my opinion thats all the range you need.

But the nightfinder is really easy. I did it at first with only duct tape, scissors, a marker and a strip of sand paper. Its more reinforced and banded now, but it worked.
