When me and some of my friends were playing and indoor war, I got put at losing. (We put three of our team at infantry, sharpshooter, or Heavy Weapons) Since I'm always put at the losing position, what gun would be the best "losing" gun. It can be moddified or stock but which is the gun best?

PS I have the longshot and DONT want to moddify it. ^_^

Well there is really no such thing as a douche bag, it's more of a sharpshooter that can be mobile around the playing field. A good gun for sharpshooting indoors is a Big Bad Bow. You should modify it with the Angel Big Bad Bow mod. This way it will be clipped so if you have to be on the move you will still have a good rate of fire. It is also very accurate and has good range.

What are the parameters that make a gun a sn!ping gun? i.e. ammo capacity, ROF, range, etc.

Although true "sn!ping" isn't really possible in Nerf, as mentioned above, a good gun for a "sharpshooter" has to have good range and good accuracy. Basically, you want to be able to hit somebody a good bit before they can hit you. So if you can nail a man-sized target at a good range, then it is a good "sharpshooter" gun.

Of course, what constitutes a good range depends on where you are playing and what other guns are being used. If everyone is using stock guns, then you just need something that can out-range them while maintaining accuracy. If everyone is using mods, you need a better mod. If you are indoors, then you likely won't need to worry as much about range (unless you have large rooms, like a gym or auditorium, to worry about). So accuracy is more important there.

Might I suggest a 3k or 2k. They can both hit a target at 70ft away, even with a crappy mod.
if you keep the turret, there is 6 extra shots on the 3k and i'm not really sure about how many on the 2k.
(Im talking airtech by the way)

Why am I posting in this thread?
Because I have five minutes to burn before my carpool group shows up.
losing is not something done in NERF. I also don't understand all this talk about infantry, sharpshooter, etc. Are you asking for a gun with long range? You're playing indoors for pete's sake! Unless you're playing in a VERY large facility, anything hitting over 50' is just going to cause excess pain. If you're looking for a long range gun the AT3K and AT2K are both great and I personally prefer the SuperMaxx1500. But I use those for outdoor wars. I would never use any of those guns indoors. I'd say a well modified NF is your best "loser" weapon. But really, stop trying to assign roles like "infantry" and "loser" and just go shoot somebody.

FYI, at the NH boards if you type "douche bag", it's filtered into "loser".

I myself have been put at the loser position and, as said above I use an Atk3000. It works like a charm, a BBB would also suffice( my friend uses one).

Try a Lbb or a Big salvo, both when correctly modified can hit over 100'

The snіper is one of the most debated things here as far as styles of play in wars are concerned. They are extremely erotic in large-scale, "official" wars, but "snіpers" can still take part in smaller personally-hosted wars. It's just that most nerfers are about running around and shooting everything, not camping in one spot. It just goes against the ideals that Nerf is a more laid-back, "fun" version of paintball and airsoft. But like I said, do whatever you want at your own wars.

As far as the guns go, here's a list:
  • Big Bad Bow (Angel modded) [aka, the BBB or 3B]
  • Buzz Bee Big Blast (Captain Slug has a good mod for it) [aka the BBBB or 4B]
  • Lanard Blast Bazooka (almost identical to the 4B, find similar mods) [aka the LBB]
  • Air Tech 2000 or 3000 (can be singled, or the turrets rebarreled) [aka the AT2k/AT3k, or just the 2k/3k]
  • Max Shot (rebarreled, I have a mod for it in the directory)
Those are just a few of them. The problem with the LBB, BBB, Max Shot, and 4B is that in their stock form they do not shoot darts, so they will have to be modded to be used at all.

As you can see, there are ways to circumvent the filter on the word snіper. I'm surprised that the admins haven't found my method yet.
