Ok. So I modded my lil' bro's LS, I added a 1st gen NF spring and took out the AR-nothing special-. It seems like I did somethin' wrong. When I pull back the plunger and the breech goes back and I put in the mag, the two prong-like things on top catch the breech. What did I do? Sorry, no pics, kind'a lazy right now with all this homework and projects.

Don't pry.......and gently pry it off with a flathead screwdriver.

I think that same thing happened to me. when you took out the ARs did you cut open the breech?

No, I just hammered the ARs with a screwdriver and wrench. I'm a 13 yr old boy with little money and resources, so I don't think I would try to open the breech.

This happens when you add another spring. The bolt is pushed foward by the extra spring. You fix this by sanding down the back of the dart-catch things.

There have been many threads on this before. Next time, search.

I had the same problem. I found that I had not put the sled on exactly right and had to fiddle with it for a while.

I had that problem, but it had nothing to do with it being pushed forward due to the spring. The problem was that on the plunger head and the end of the plunge rod there are grooves that line up. I didn't put them back in line with each other so the botl was not being allowed to extend far enough, and not allowing the clip to enter.

It might have had something to do with the added spring too, but when I fixed my previously stated problem it worked perfectly.

Since I am lazy, I shaved down the back of the 2 pronged clips down. Works fine now.

Yeah, the sled/plunger piece isn't in square.
