I've read numerous times to not plug the Big Salvo's OP valve. But I've also read that it greatly increases range. And after seeing how greatly the range was increased on my at3k, I can't decide what to do, and I dont want to blow it up. If I should plug it, roughly how many pumps should I do? (The last thing I want is plastic shrapnel in the meat of my arm.)

The normal stock amount of pumps is 10 - 12, thats all I know.

But I left mine unplugged and its been performing fine for me.

I would say not to, unless you are bigger-salvo-ing it, because then it mite be too powerful for a war.

Don't want to shove balls in tight spaces. Trust me, bad idea.

For sale: Vintage WWII French rifles. Dropped once, never fired.

I did the Bigger Salvo mod and plugged the pump. It is worth it just be sure to not pump it over 60ish. I pump mine 50 times to get 80 ft. ranges with it I think. I haven't used it in a while because the barrel broke off but I just got hot glue so I will fix it soon. Mine also has a coupler on it so that I can use single barrels. I would suggest not to plug the pump if you are going to just use single barrels because it leaves welts with a plugged pump. Four, big welts.
