I don't know how a homemade springer works, or how to make one. How is it possible to make a catch without an exact shape, and how do I make a trigger without plastic sheets?

i also had trouble with this. Using Carbon's clothespin trigger, a hole is drilled through the clothespin and through the plunger tube. The plunger head has a ramp leading up to a slot behind the o-ring. A nail is put in the clothespin through both holes and the plunger is pulled back. The plunger goes back and the nail is pushed up the ramp and into the slot. Now, the plunger cannot move forward until the nail is pulled out. The clothespin is then used as a lever, as an angle bracket has been glued to it. When the angle bracket is pulled back like a trigger, the nail is pulled out or the slot, allowing the spring to push the plunger forward.
