So my mom just won me 2 maxshots on ebay. Im curious if you guys think that a crayola barrel would be long enough ot if I should use about 6 inches of cpvc shaved down to fit my darts. I also have this silver metal that I use for air powered guns but it is kind of loose.

Crayola isn't long enough. The Maxshot is some what like a crossbow. Just not as sexy. How is the fit on the CPVC on your darts? If you have to twist your darts in, then thats not good.

I would think a crayola barrel would be inadequate for the air output of the Maxshot. I find with my couplered Maxshot that 1/2" CPVC cut anywhere from 8" to 10" is optimal. Any barrel material a bit looser than that you would need to use longer lengths.

When speaking about a swallow, always make sure you know whether it is an African or European swallow. It is very important.

Fuck crayolas. I'd shove a pinecone up my ass before putting a crayola on ANYTHING.

But seriously, crayolas are fine for NF's and such. But for a Maxshot, 8" of CPVC does it for me (80-90' reliably, 100'+ with wind/the "average" range formula). Darts I use are pretty tight in it, but they work great.

Alright. I wont be using a crayola. The .5 inch drill bit i have might not be able to get me 8 inches. However i might be able to get a max of 7 inches.

Why don't you just do one side for the telescoping effect?

Don't want to shove balls in tight spaces. Trust me, bad idea.

For sale: Vintage WWII French rifles. Dropped once, never fired.

I didnt figure that would work well. Mainly because I find that my darts are just way too tight in it without shaving it down.
