No offense to CS or FA, but that might be the coolest homemade I've ever seen.

Doom brought this to my attention a few weeks ago, and it's definitely awesome. I've since added it to a new section in the Homemades Directory for offsite homemades...stuff like this deserves to be seen more.

That was incredible. You probably need something more on the lines of 50-70 PSI, but that was seriously hot.

I'd make one if I knew it wouldn't take me three months.

This was posted here last year deep within the murky bowels of the first ABP thread.

It's built around a 1/2 size easy-slide sleeve valve that's linked to your typical turret rotation cam.

The drawback to the design is the amount of dead space inbetween the valve and the dart. We do however need to look into experimenting with sleeve valves as a possible replacement for ball valves. They're very easy to move quickly, but I'm not sure what kind of flow rate they offer. The downside is that they're pretty expensive ($20 and up).

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

I think I noticed this a couple months after it appeared at SpudFiles but never said anything about it until I told Carbon about it. I assumed people here knew about it... which was a wrong assumption.

My plan for a new gun was to do something somewhat similar with a linear clip instead of a rotating turret (as well as some sort of semi-auto valve configuration). That makes construction easier and cheaper. Perhaps I'll do work some on that during spring break.

I'd say more but I need to finish some physics homework...
