it looks like everyone wants to get rid of them. well, $20 is a great deal even if you're just keeping the shell.

I just bought a single Magstrike from the Target website for more than that. Now I feel ripped off.

Ouch. I got mine on clearance at Wally World and I paid 18 dollars for it.
What a great deal. Too bad I don't need another magstrike. The forty darts this comes with makes it a particularly attractive bargain.
I'm trying to think of any reason to use the magstrike though. I think I like my rf20 more.

EDIT: Holy crap. Free shipping too? It is taking a huge effort not to order this. Wow, they must really want them out of there.

I don't think it's a 2 pack. I think it's showing the different colors. Still, $20 is good for one.

I shared the same concern of whether or not it actually came with 2 or 1 blaster -- especially when the product order stated "1 Nerf Dart Mag..."

So I took screenshots of the product description and the order confirm in case they try to pull one over on me.

^for those of you buying 2 sets, here are a few coupons that could save you $5.
(note: kbtoys and etoys are the same thing, much like gamestop and ebgames)

If you buy a set of anything online the checkout will still say somthing like "1 - 10-24 X 5/8 FULLTHREAD with square neck STEEL PLAIN" even when you bought a box of 200.

Nice find. I already scored one Magstrike after Christmas on clearance at Target for $7.48, but another two for $19.99 (with no tax/shipping) is too good to pass up.

I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I imagine he could probably use some clay, and make a mold of the individual parts of the magazine, and then pour plastic into that mold and just pop out magazines whenever he wants.

Heh. My current project is a LS with a SMDTG integrated into the shell of the front gun in the bipod space, with the front gun cocking pump hooked up internally to arms on a custom-made bolt sled operating an Angel breach, powered by an additional AR-15 spring and a CS-style plunger head. It will hopefully hit an average of 110 and be painted bright orange. I haven't posted about it since it probably won't be done until early summer, but since the topics of insanity and hell came up…

Plus, on the topic of mags, the guy who made an LS mag out of cardboard has inspired me to try to duplicate the feat in poly. After the LS, before or after the MS.

I imagine he could probably use some clay, and make a mold of the individual parts of the magazine, and then pour plastic into that mold and just pop out magazines whenever he wants.

Well, the unsporting approach would be to take a block of poly/what-have-you and put it through a CNC machine. When I get my MS in, I'll investigate cheaper and more fun methods. I don't have access to equipment for injection molding.

Nice! I just ordered a set. Looks like my girlfriend is getting a Magstrike for her birthday...

What I can't figure out is why they are trying so hard to get rid of them. I understand the cheap two pack OR free shipping, but both is a little extreme. Oh well, I'm not complaining. My MS has a leak so this is just what the doctor ordered.

well, about a month ago, they were $39.99+s&h. last week, it dropped to $19.99+s&h. i guess they haven't had decent sales after the christmas season so etoys decided to drop the shipping as well.

in the spirit of high savings, here's another nerf-related offer. http://www.hasbro.com/playrewards/
