Ok i have just got around to moding my sm3k Blue edition, and i put everything back together and it works really good but when i pump it and the barrel rotates it moves more than one barrel and sometimes gets stuck in the middle of two barrels and won't rotate any farther. I was wondering if there was anything there was i could do to fix that, thanks in advance.

I had this problem when I first started modding. It would only rotate half way. I was able to work around that by holding onto the turret like a handle and manually turning it that little bit each time. This worked well for a month before I through it in the garbage. I hate the SM3K.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Have you tried using a different barrel material or trimming down the turret somehow?

I used 1/2" CPVC for my barrels and my turret hasn't had this problem. Are you sure it is the weight or something with the assembly?

Yeah, what is your barrel material? It you're using brass, there's your problem. I'd recamend getting yourself some PETG.

I used crayola barrels inside pvc so i wasn't using brass i'm not sure if it has to do with the assembly but i did have this little black peice left over it's not really that big and i could figure out where it goes, i looked at some internal pics but i couldn't find it there so i don't know.
and as for the PETG i plan on ordering some when i get paid, i just haven't had the time or money to do it...

A description or a photo of the black piece would be great. I think I can help you with reassembly (it sounds like this is the problem).

It was a piece if i'm remembering right about a quarter-a half of an inch long it was rounded in front and about a third of the way down on it, it had 4 little ridge like things on it, and on the botom third it turned into a rod about half the diameter of the rest of it.

EDIT: The rounded part points downward. The rod end points up at you.

Your best bet is if somebody can get you measurements to this piece. Unfortunately, I don't own a SM3000 anymore and even if I did, I am quite a way from home to make the measurements necessary.

I would assume any piece of shit that has the right length and is rounded on the bottom end should work. It's a little tricky to explain what it does, but it actuates the white triangular piece that locks the turret into the correct position after it rotates.
