From 10:00 am until the local burger joint refuses to feed us anymore.

I can pick up travelers from Ontario International as well as LAX. Because of the sheer number planning on coming, Cxwq may not want all of you at his house, and I can and will gladly house a few if need be. As the date draws nearer we'll see who's still committed to coming and work out housing.

Make your schedule work for it. You're not going to want to miss this. And here's why:

I'd prefer Ontario over LAX, I know Falcon's game for either, but Ontario is far more accessible.

Mmkay, I suppose it's time to bring up the ruleset for Armageddon again.

Goggles are absolutely necessary. If you do not bring goggles, you WILL NOT BE PLAYING. There are no two ways about this. If you fly across the country and don't have something covering your eyes, I'll give you directions to the local hardware store, which you get to walk to and buy a pair from.

Bring your own darts. For the love of god, bring your own darts. NO EXPOSED METAL on the tips of stefans, and NO cone-shaped tips either. Domes are fine. Pointed hot glue = GTFO our nerf war.

Guns:
Singled Titans of any kind = Banned. No exceptions, save ball-firing titans.
Singled SM 5000's of any kind = Banned. Same as above.
Singled Big Blasts = Banned. I don't care what you say, Cxwq lost a trusty pair of goggles to a shot from one last year. Don't test me.

If you are incredibly adamant about using a singled titan, 5k, or Big Blast at Armageddon, I have a proposal for you, and I'm dead serious about this. If you can shoot yourself with the gun in question, point blank (barrel tip on the underside of your non-dominant forearm, in contact with your skin) more times than I can with my own primary (in the same place, mind you) without wincing, bleeding, or making any noise whatsoever, you can use it.

Homemades:
Absolutely NO homemades are allowed. PERIOD.

Exceptions to the rule for this year specifically:
CaptainSlug and VACC are both planning on being in attendance. A Plusbow, despite its being a homemade, is essentially a crossbow in a robust shell. Unless for some reason weather conditions cause the Plusbows to be firing at or approaching the speed of sound, Plusbows will be allowed this year. Gents, for those bringing said guns, please bring additional guns that are of typical Nerf war fare.

After losing so many guns over the fall, the +bow is pretty much the only real primary I have. And I think most of the West Coast contingent would rather go up against a +bow than the paintball tank powered Magstrike. Shipping the tanks before hand then getting them filled would have been a logistical problem too.
The only "normal" guns I have are an amalgamized Tech Target and a basic modified NiteFinder.

Do glasses (seeing) count as goggles? I don't want to wear snowboard goggles or something

The only problem with glasses are that they are exposed on the sides. However, most safety goggles can fit over regular glasses.

Or you can get a pair of those cool sport glasses you see on some Basketball players from time to time. They're pretty bitchin'.

To add to what mack said, wear prescription glasses at your own risk. They're not exactly built with sharp impacts from high speed objects in mind.

That being said, if they were to break, the glass from said lens would fly straight into your eye. Please find something to go over your glasses.

Side note: are you coming, or do you still not know yet?

While that is appreciated, don't make any exceptions on my account. I have plenty of nerf guns and do not need a high powered rifle to kick everybody's ass there. That said, if Slug has no alternatives, I suggest allowing him to use this so he does not invent anything containing trace amounts of anti-matter. That shit stains hard.
