The catch mechanism may be messed up.All I know is that i have to cock it, then hold the slide back and pull the tigger and then it shoots but not very far.
Pictures would help, though.
This would go under Modification, BTW.

And yes its 'seated' correctly its been doing that ever since I got it but TRU wouldn't let me return it.
Atleast I got it for cheap.
What should I do?

Also, your avatar is really annoying me. Whenever I see it I think your Forsaken_Angel. No offence or anything.

1) Throw the damn thing in the trash
2) Buy a new nerf gun, preferably more reliable than a maverick
On a more serious note, it looks like something snapped in your internals. Open her up and compare your internals with pictures to see what might be out of place or broken. If it's fixable, you will want to know exactly what's wrong first.

For future mods, i suggest you take a paper towel and put it right over your gun as soon as you open it.That way, it dosen't go far.
Wow, I never have thought about doing this, well all the parts flying out thing has only happend to me a few times but I'll do this next time I open up a gun.
Thanks
