Hey guys, I saw a video on America's funniest home videos the other night where a guy hooked a string to a nerf dart and the other end of the string to his daughter's loose tooth and then fired the gun and it actually pulled out her tooth. I can't find the video online in the short amount of time I've had to look and wondered if anybody else has seen this or finds the video. I think you'll all enjoy it and get a kick out of it.

I found this video. It doesn't seem to have been on AFV, but it is pretty much what you described.

This reminds me of the time when I was losing a tooth, it was really loose, but it wasn't quite out yet. I was talking to my friend at school, and he jokingly poked me in the cheek. It pushed the tooth and popped it out, and I bent over and spit the tooth on the table. He thought he had actually knocked out a healthy tooth, and he was all like "Oh my god, are you okay?" I just said "Thanks, that thing was annoying me." and I explained the situation. Good times.

Oh boy, I couldn't say what kind of gun he used, like I said it was a couple weeks ago and that part of my memory is failing me. If I find the video I'll tell you though, also whoever found the video, would you please put a link, I'd like to get a good look at it.

Yeah, I didn't think it was either. It didn't have the AFV theme, unless this was before AFV edited and started adding cuts, sound effects and dumb voice-overs.

Too bad I'm not going to lose anymore teeth, or I would tie one to a stefan and fire it out of my titan. THAT would get it out.

Um, you guys do realize that your typical dart weighs less than 3 grams right? It will just barely have enough inertia to pull string behind it but not enough to move anything that weighs more than a disposable cup. So such a scenario would have to be rigged because the tooth would have to be capable of falling out on its own..

It has had all of the above since it's inception when Bob Sagat was hosting it in the early evenings back in 1990. I feel old for knowing this, but then again I watched a crapload of TV when I was a kid. Including RESCUE... 9... 1... 1

Yes sir captain, I took all of this into consideration when I first saw the video on afv and figured it was somehow rigged. I just thought it was neat and wanted to post it.

Yeah, I watched a lot of AFV last month because at school I was in a mid-day activity where we watch it. My teacher has a lot of AFV on DVD.


A little bit off topic, but speaking of Bob Sagat, my dad recently got back from Japan, and he said that when he was riding in a car with a Japanese guy. The guy said "you look like American T.V. star", my dad said "oh who?", the guy replied "Bob Sagat San". I thought that was hilarious, especially in the voice my dad did when he was talking as the Japanese guy.
