How does a barrel replacement help a gun? Aren't the original barrels the same as PETG/brass?

If you accidentally clock somebody with a doubleshot, then you're more liable to break the doubleshot than you are to cause serious injury.

PM me if selling a NIB or LNNB LnL.

The air doesn't all come out at once, so a tighter barrel with more friction holds the dart in longer, allowing more air to build up behind it. The original barrels are looser than brass or PETG and have less friction.

No, we replace them because PETG and brass and PVC etc.. all come in pretty consistent sizes. With our barrel replacements we can make sure the new barrel fits our darts, and provides enough room for the proper pressurisation to take place.

In short, we use them because they make the gun work better.

To answer your question, a stock barrel is usually too short once the blaster is modified. Also, it can make a mega shooting blaster shoot micros. This improves range and performance because, a mega is bigger than a micro so, when all the air needed to fire a mega is channeled behind a micro, you get a range boost.

As Ro-Sham-bo may have pointed out with the megas to micros example, it is sometimes necessary to change the barrel in order for it to even be able to fire micros. Blasters such as the LBB, BBB, BBBB, Titan, and Maxshot all use other types of ammunition besides micros. Another obvious reason is that it helps range significantly.

When speaking about a swallow, always make sure you know whether it is an African or European swallow. It is very important.
