These might be useful for gunslinger heaven if they were velcro or snap-on.
For team indication we normally use flagging tape, which works fine.

industrial-size rolls of colored e-tape are wonderful multi-purpose tools.

We use cloth headbands at UBCon. Works pretty well.

of late, we play with the same group of people soo often that we just remember who's on the other team, although we often will use Pink/Orange Flagging tape.
Don't call it a comeback, I never left.
