Hi, I was really wishing that I would have my other project completed by the time I was validated, but I guess I will just show this for now. (I am not exactly sure if this should be in the homemades or general nerf)

This is my bandoleer:
Posted Image

I have used it in many wars and it has been very useful, plus it adds the cool factor. It holds 25 darts.

It was constructed using fabric and was sewn together. If you don't know how to sew, then do what I did and commission your mom to do it for you.

Here's a closer look:

And one of me wearing it:

All in all I think it is more practical than carrying an ammo box.

EDIT: New name, bandoleer.

Looks good too.

McFlurry does this, dunno if he still does though.

I'm still looking for a cheap shotgun shell holder though. Its easier than sewing one.

That is cool. And does your shirt say: "only Chuck Norris can prevent forest fires"? I think that is hilarious.
Keef: You can find cheap shotgun shell holders at Cabelas, (I have a retailer near me) or on their website. This one holds 25 shells, for $6 You could also get Rifle ammunitions holders too, the larger caliber ones would have a better fit for stefans than shotgun shell holders.

It's not like that. I put lube on it and its the same. Its just stuck. And when I cock it back it goes farther back then usual. Also I push as hard as I can and it wont go back in. I've tried the methods and they wont work. Also pics are up.

How well does it stay on your body? Unless the whole thing is elastic it looks as though it would jsut slip off.

It stays on pretty well through gravity and the only way it could come off is if you did some somersaults in the middle of a war. The only problem I have with it is that sometimes the belt will rotate to where all the darts are at the bottom. This isn't too bad of a problem though.

And yes, my shirt does say that "only Chuck Norris can prevent forest fires"

It's a fact

Thats really cool. I had made a chain-linked ammo belt out of paper and tape when I was younger and it worked surprisingly well. Now to see if I can remember how I made it.

I used to be a paper and tape ninja when I was young...

NINJA!!!!

I was looking at a bandoleer but I think making my own out of 1/4 pvc (ice's suggestion) and e-tape/hot glue it to a sash or something. I could hold a crap load of darts (about 50) and make it for less than $5.

Also, the sash would be WAY more comfy and easy to grab compared to an ammo belt.

Finally, I can't make online transactions. At all. End of story.

Paper/tape or pvc with a sash and PLENTY of hot glue...

Extremely easy to make. I tie it around some belt loops on the side of my pants, and it works pretty well.

pwnchu, that looks cool, but I think you know with CPVC, since it has a tighter fit on my stefans and regular stock darts, it wouldn't make a very good ammo belt, for quick loading purposes. I think that using a looser-fitting PETG or brass. I couldn't think of a size for PETG or brass, because I have not used them as barrel material. I ususally go with CPVC. (it hasn't failed me yet, and its cheap, and easy to cut.

I've had good luck drilling out short sections of CPVC with a 13mm drill bit. It's probably going to be relatively expensive ($10 or so) to buy one individually, but they come in most metric sized sets. This makes my CPVC fit stock darts perfectly. They slide right in, without having to twist or turn.

Oh, crap. That's going to get added that hilarious quote to my signature, while playing with my butthole by one of you wierdos, isn't it?

I use a small holster on my back that I can swivel around to hold my darts.

I do call it that, it's just that I wasn't sure how to spell it.

EDIT: I just looked it up. It is actually spelled "bandolier" or "bandoleer". I'm going to go with bandoleer because it seems less French.

This is probably kind of obvious, but you dont have to slide the darts all the way in, so if you just put it in some of the way then the tight fit isn't that much of a problem. (I suppose for putting them back in it is but i haven't been really inconvenienced by it)

I sewed some that hold 25 out of nylon straps but I find it is easier to just reach in a pocket for a dart than to find a dart.

I just realized that one could put a hole in the pvc and put fishing line in between them and string them together.
