I'm making a homemade nerf gun! I already have one but it sux because I used 3/4" diameter pipe now i'm using 1/2"diameter pvc! I'm very expirenced with pipe cause I build spud guns and stuff It cost $9.75! I thought it would be about $20 or so but it was cheap! I am using a 1/2" brass ball valve. The only thing I need to buy is a 10ft section of 1/2" pvc for 78 cents. I didn't buy that cause it doesn't fit in my car. I got to wait for my dad with his truck...

If anybody cares I finished it! but I spent $20 on it because I kept on messing up I used a copper barrell and it shoots far!!!!



I forgot to put teflon tape around the ball valve and I couldn't get it off so I could so i had to use duct tape and it still leaks a bit! when my dad gets home were gonna take the ball valve and add the teflon tape so it doesn't leak

Also it's not loud so it doesn't need a silencer...actually I can't even hear it when it fires

What's the range on it? Measure it with a flat firing angle.

umm I don't have measuring tape long enough...but about 150 ft...

this looks almost exactly like my gun only mine has a copper barrel and brass ball valve and it doesn't have a breech loader....

Hey, it's helped already!

Yeah, Brass ball valves are much better than their PVC counterparts... They're a bit easier to turn, and the longer handle is a definite plus.

doh! I took the tire valve off cause I'm cheap , i put the tire valve on a homemade supersoaker. So now i ned to replace the tire valve and barrel. The barrel was taped down so my friend thought it would be funny if he bent the copper pip on my basket ball goal...grr...so once i get some money I'm gonna repair it and add some new stufff
