The spring I added to my LS is pretty hefty to say the least. Most of the time it wont stay cocked because the catch spring is too weak. Can I replace the catch spring, if so where is it on the LS?

There are some situations where the catch plate can fail with an oversized spring. Not to say that yours is gigantic, but I did have a catch plate fail on a LS once because the plastic was flawed. Find a new catch spring, and if you're feeling confident in modding, graft some metal plate to yours, but that's totally optional.
