Curious as to how it is done, and having had one and not be able to modify it, I was wondering if anyone had a writeup they were willing to make. I don't want to destroy my Secret Shot, and I certainly don't want anyone else to, so if someone could tell me how to appropriately cut the tubing and such, it would be appreciated.

The green Tri-Barrel handgun? I'll work on a writeup if that is what you are talking about.
We should stop calling out/making fun of/pissing GC off. He's actually contributed and is available for trade. He's a better than average member no doubt. Got your back Cole.

It has two barrels, but potentially could have 3. If that's what YOU meant, then yes, and thanks.

Cool. I'll post it when I have the chance.

I remember this from back in the day. I've been meaning to re-do my mod and write something decent about it. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get my hands on a new secret shot, nor have I had time to rebuild my original Tri-barrel SS1.

I tried the tri-barrel, and I'm having some trouble. If I posted a picture of how my barrels are, and the hollowing of the shell, could someone tell me if it would be hard/impossible to align my barrels correctly?
Thanks in advance.

It appears that you cut out the bracketing for the orange triangle piece. You will probably have to smear goop all over one end of triangle bracket then put it into place, making sure that it aligns with the front of your plunger chamber. Then you will probably have to clamp it down somehow and remove the plunger chamber so it won't push it out of place.

Difficult, yes. Impossible, no.

EDIT: I just checked the timestamps on my original photos from this mod. I did this before 2001! That's a crazy fucking long time ago.

Thanks!
I accidentally tried to hotglue the barrels into place originally, so I'll have to dremel a very fine place for it to rest in, because when I align the plunger to the barrels, the barrels are a tad too high.
Would anyone happen to know if an Ace 49 spring would fit in this plunger tube? If not, and someone has a replacement spring that fits and and would be willing to part with it, please PM me!
Again, thanks for the help Frost!

No problem. This thread makes me want to go and rebuild my SS1. It's the first nerf gun I've laid my hands on. Thanks for the nostalgia!
