Honestly, why do you even post here anymore Cole? All of your threads (even if they are rarely original) end up getting you flamed. Usually because of your inability to make a good idea an efficient one. For instance, if you hadn't put a Manta Ray on these pop-point things, you probably wouldn't have gotten flamed (as much).

Not so much a joke as sarcasm.


However I think these 'pop point' integrations aren't that super useful, because the best integrations cleanly mesh into the gun, and not in the awkward way you did with the manta.

I think that he just attached the manta ray to show his pop points. He even said that it was impractical and would ever be used. Give the guy a break. He came up with something original, isn't that enough? Seems like a lot of people are here to bash his idea when they haven't come up with anything on their own. I personally like the idea of the pop points and plan on trying a few out on my guns. Well done.

On topic. I dont nesecarily think that Cole intends to use the CrossbowSpitfireMantaray in a war, he was just using this as an example.

on the subject of those pop points, I was looking through home depot today and they have these snap on saddle pieces for less than a dollar which come in 1/2 and 3/4 sizes. They'd work the exact same way I assume but they are threaded on an end too. may come in handy.

I personally don't like having bulky objects banging against my knees. Mostly because I've had surgery on both of them. I think this concept has some potential.
