Hey all! I apollogize for such a loooong time away, but im bak and ready for some nerfy goodness!

So, after looking at some posts around here, I have noticed a bunch of story-based scenarios and campaigns. I was just wonderin if anyone had objective markers to represent the main goal of completing missions. To name a few examples:
- CTF custom flags
- Frag Grenade Props
- Barricades
- PVC Mortars (I have seen a few that fire nerf footballs)
- Ammo Dumps (Modeled to look like WW2 Ammo Crates)

*all above examples have been taken from very precise search engines *Caugh caugh google Caugh*

If you guys have anything like the above, feel free to post them here! Can't wait to see them!

"scenario" based wars don't really get discussed here that much because for the most part they tend to have their own outside forums. So most the of things you cited as examples never get discussed here. Ammo dumps in particularly don't make much sense in a typical war because there's ammo lying on the ground EVERYWHERE and a singular drop box would only discourage maneuvering.

As for barricades I used some very successfully at the Summer DCNO to break up a very open soccer field and add some cheap and safe cover. I haven't had to use them again since because we switched venues for the Fall DCNO, but I will bring them to the next one because they are very nice to have.

I originally saw pictures of these being used in small wars organized in some churches in Florida that were posted in here a year or so ago. I wanted to find a cheaper way to make them and it's now obvious that conduit pipe is the most cost effective material to use for framing the tarps.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

I use bandannas as flags, or another gun or something.

We play Headquarters and normal Deathmatch, like in Call of Duty

Who really trys to recreate ammo dumps? This isn't Airsoft...

Oh, I usually use a Nerf Blaster too.

I was thinking about making a pump-up nerf grenade, but it didn't really work in the end.

CTF flags all the time. I've also played rounds where a team had to protect its "commander", who used a flag as a shield.

For CTF, I use those flouresent bike flags with a fiberglass pole.
They work very well if you can find them at a store.

Baricades-I use these for indoors only since my outdoor playing feild already has a good amount of that. I actually only made a couple yesterday since I had a freind come over that is new to nerf, and he suggested making some cover so my basement wouldnt just be a large area...with no cover. I used peices of cardboard from my new treadmill and T.V. there about 8 feet wide and maybe 3-4 feet tall.

Flags-I also just made these not too long ago. I was getting some supplies for WCNO and thought it would be a good idea to actually have plags, as the flags. I used 5 foot peices of CPVC with some sort of large square cloth screwed and glued onto the end. But I did have to shorten them a little because that was to only barrel material I had at the time for a new project of mine.

EDIT: Grenades-I made this pretty awesome flsh grenade out of my friends light from his firefly. Altough I wouldnt feel comfortable taking it into the public because of the odd resembulance(sp?) to an Iraqi bomb. Although I didnt mean to make it look like one, I felt the need to put large sections of FBR onto it then wrap in it electrical tape. Il try to get a picture of it once I can find out what the fuck is up with my camera!

Thank you guys (gals?) for the great output, though what i meant by ammo dump was an objective, not a reload station. You know, like a regular cardboard box painted and decorated to look like a WW2 style crate. I hope this clears everything up. Also, i wasnt trying to refer to airsoft in any way, im just refering to its specific style of play, scenarios. If you are still confused ill try and explain it in more detail. ^_^

I made a camo box out of cardboard that measured 3' by 6'' by 1.5'. It was intended as a place to put extra guns-ammo at a base for an emergency. Never saw any use.

Don't want to shove balls in tight spaces. Trust me, bad idea.

For sale: Vintage WWII French rifles. Dropped once, never fired.

for inside wars I just use a table for a barricade, but after seeing this thread, I feel like making some stuff for wars.

A pretty hilariously awesome thing to do for indoor CTF is, make what ever area you have wars in as dark as possible (waiting until it's night usually helps if you have windows) and instead of conventional flags, use light sabers or flashlights for flags. It's pretty friggin' chaotic.

As for baricades, boxes have done me well in the past, but after I finish my homemade Manta (Bags wasn't kidding when he said it took a long time to make), I'll probably make some portable ones (no not portable boxes...).

When I have indoor night wars with my brother and my dad we set up a bunch of collapsible play tents in our living room. The tents are fun because they are not solid and they can be knocked over by a titan rocket.

sounds pretty bad ass, I should try that, cuz most of my indoor wars are dark.

I wish we could do that at UBCon, but I'm sure the Student Union people wouldn't allow it. That sounds like a lot of fun as long as you're absolutely sure that no one will sue you if they break their ankle.
