Does anyone know how to embed a video that isn't from youtube? I'm trying to embed a video that I made on photobucket's remix program.

On NerfHaven people try to not post embedded videos rather give a link to the video to keep the site more low internet speed friendly.

Also, this gives people like me with on and off wifi connections the ability to see the video when I can or wait for it to load and watch it later.

Another reason why you shouldn't embed videos is that if you hit View New Posts, you can see a long list of posts that have recently appeared. I usually open all of the topics in a new tab then read them one by one. If there were say 10 videos embedded in the topics, I would have to find which tabs the videos are in and turn them off one by one...

Finally, Shinny can and WILL ban you if you try to do this

I'd have to discourage embedding videos into posts. And by discourage, I mean you won't like the outcome if you do.

Like an overuse of pictures, videos have the potential to get really annoying even if you have a fast connection.

Embedding videos? Is that when the video appears as a pic? and is it is how can I transfer my videos from PhotoBucket to YouTube?

I think he means so that you can watch the video right there on the post. People do it in blogs all the time.

You can always I'm not sure what you mean by "bandwidth limit", Lynx. Embedded videos do not use NerfHaven's bandwidth.
