I'd like a comparison of the DTG vs. the Maverick. I also want this comparison to include stock ranges.

Ya I second that, I had a mav, it sucked. Plain and simple. I have never had a DTG, but I think that people get something like 55ft with them. Just get the DTG. Its worth the extra ten bucks.

If you like the maverick for its looks, and/or functionality, then you could make a nitemav, buy both a NF and a maverick, and you'll get the range of a NF, and the "coolness" of a maverick.

I'll agree with everyone else in saying that a DTG has more ammo capacity and better range than a Maverick, so you're better off getting the DTG.
I don't care what anyone else says, Atom Blasters are fucking awesome.

Kid Flash, shift key has a function.
Get a Hornet, or Airtech3000 if you want 60 shots at good range.
A Longshot would work too, but its hard to get decent ranges (for its size) when modded lightly.

Well, my maverick is ..unusually well endowed, ie it is better than a stock recon, but the dtg is better in overall rof.
