I am still somewhat new to the nerf scene, but my first gun that I modded was a BBB, and I just sanded down and hammered some cpvc into the stock barrel after I hacksawed the AR off. I haven't gotten around to taking off that white AR... But I think my first ever nerf gun was a DTG, I got it from my cous' on Christmas of '04. I was about 9 or 10 I think..
EDIT: I can't really say I got it 'when I was young', because I was 9 only 4 years ago.

My first gun was a Rattler and my second was an Expand-A-Blast, but that was back in the day when they first came out and I was still in elementary school.

I had a little blue gun with 4 red revolving barrels. It was from the Nerf line but I don't remember what it was called.

My first nerf guns were a 5th-generation Nite-finder (yeah, I'm that new to the sport) and a Magstrike. I'm currently modding the Magstrike with Captain Slug's external air tank mod and the Nite-finder has rubber bands, a crayola barrel, and a hot-glued plunger seal (The Inventor Guy style). I also got a Titan I'm planning to mod to fire barricade buster grenades. Preferably in the stock barrel.

I think it was two Sharpshooter I's (from two different friends, on my birthday), although it may have been the blue-and-pink BnA (can't remember where/how I got that).

I think the Sharpshooters were second gen or something, though...they were blue rather than gold/brown, and the darts didn't have fins.

My "returning to nerf" blaster was the (blue) Mav.

My family went camping one weekend and we bought four double crossbows to have our own little war. It was a lot of fun. For Christmas that year my younger brother got a Bow'N'Arrow and I got a Crossbow.

My "getting back into Nerf" was also a Maverick

Shut up, it was a gift. For some reason, a friend of mine "decided I needed it".

The first one I bought myself was the Lock 'n' Load, which redeems me somewhat.

I am not sure if I had a Nerf Gun in the past. My parents never got us big toys, like for Legos we always got the 10-15$ sets and never the $50 ones. So last christmas I asked for a Nerf Maverick, my parents gave me two and I am pretty sure those were my first Nerf Guns.

My first nerf gun was the NB-1 missle launcher!. I still have it somewhere. i Also had the doublecrossbow, black edition which is nowhere as cool as the crossbow. Kind of misleading name.

My first gun was a sm750. Loved the thing. My friend sat on it and broke it. I then shot him with my eab.
I dont have them anymore, but I wish I did because I would have integrated the sm into something.

My first gun was an SM750. I got it from my grandmother on Easter. I modded it a few years later when I came across it in my basement. The first gun that I heavily modded was a NF the day after.

My first nerf gun was the pimpin' orange and tiger striped sspb...That thing was awesome. Then i lost the darts and smashed it. Then, i got this 4 pack of tek 10's and 6's, and i still have 3/4. Then, i saw this guy with a 1st gen NF, so i got one. I don't know what happened to that thing... Then, my aunt got me an old TTG for christmas. A couple months ago, i found the gun and target in my attic. The gun didn't work. I took it apart, couldn't put it back together, so i found this site. My mom threw out all the internals, but i got the spring somehow. My getting into nerf gun was a NF, and the TTG still lives! It's heart and soul are in my NF.(Double springs, baby.)

Meh, Airsoft is worse by far, with Paintball taking 1st.

Paintball is outrageously more expensive than Nerf, but thank god for sponsors.

Nerf is actually quite inexpensive for the amount of fun you get out of it.

I'll say it again...

I had money left over on an expiring Walmart gift card, and I saw the maverick featured, so I bought it. I saw Nerfhaven on instructables, and modded it, bought a NF and now I'm here with 30 or more blasters.

Damnnn. I'll tell ya, airsoft is a expensive muthfucka. Only have 2 AEG's (battery automatics) and I'm already around 500 dollars.... By the way, The VFC ak74UN is TOTALLY worth 320 dollars (AirsoftGI).
