Ok so ive decided to just do this over. and hopefully u can see the pics
My first mod was on my nerf dart tag pistol. I took out the AR and tried a second spring but the 2 springs didn't work.
I started by taking out all the screws and opening it up. I took out the spring and the the piece with the AR. I spent a while hammering out the AR with a screwdriver. It looks like this.
The i wondered if i could add a second spring for more of a punch and took out the spring from the sidearm from the LS.
When i had added the spring and closed it up i couldn't cock it back so opened it up again and the springs nailed me in the face. I just kept the stronger of the two and closed it up it now just needs a sanding and a sweat paint job. It looks like this:

any feedback would be great

Word of advice, don't post stuff like this UNTIL you have the photos to go along with it. It's just dumb to say you did a mod, and pics are coming. Why not just wait and do it all at once.

Or did it have 10 shots? If so, it is a DTG. (dart tag gun)

It is also called the crossfire. One of them comes with 2, one comes with one. I don't remember which is which though.

The single one is a Cross Fire and the double pack is the Strike Fire.

Your going to have to make an account for an online photo sharing website. Then upload your pictures to your account, get the image URL then put it in the place provided when it asks you for the URL.

My image hosting website that is fairly easy to use is www.photobucket.com. It is very easy to upload pics, and then to get the pics up like I did earlier in this topic, you copy the IMG code of an uploaded photo, and paste it in your post. Oh, and by the way, photobucket is totally free. I hope this helps.
EDIT: oh yeah, I can't see the pics either.

I have never fired one of these guns. Are they really that good or worth modding? I've seen people use them, but other than the fact that they are probably a lot quieter than larger guns, I'm not sure why I would want to use one.

In my opinion you should just get a nf. I modded mine by taking out the ars and made it LODUD unless you use perfect darts, in which case it will get 5' range instead of 20'. Needles to say I have had a very bad time with Crossfires.

Yeah... I broke both of mine, and now I officially hate them.

Tip on pictures. Take them further away. Seriously, I see this all over the forums. Most digital cameras take at least a decent resolution. So just back up the camera a little and use some form of photo editing software to just crop and resize them. There are a few free ones out there that have at least this basic functionality.

Otherwise, glad you got your pics up, decent mod. And I'll second (or third or fourth or fifth) the sentiment on getting a NF. They're dirt cheap and you can do all sorts of fun stuff to them.

Just modded a CrossFire and I will edit ranges in tomorrow. It is a great holster/pocket gun.


30 level in slight wind against it.

38 at a 30 degree angle.

All of my (15) darts were clumped up at those two spots...
