17/32" is a good fit for stock darts. As far as where to get it, I've found it at Ace and True Value hardware stores, as well as most hobby shops.

The longshot's ammo is really inaccurate. But if you want to use them, use 17/32 brass

Edit- Carbon beat me to it.

Thank you guys. I won't need accuracy because I'm planning on making it for close quarters.

Whenever I use stock darts I use 1/2"pvc. Its more stable, a heck of a lot less expensive, and in my mind just as good.

I forgot to ask what size brass (or pvc) fits over those.

I forgot to ask what size brass (or pvc) fits over those.

Brass moves up in 1/32" increments. The next size is 9/16" and it's a perfect fit (airtight, but slides) over 17/32". 19/32" brass has a very nice fit in 1/2" PVC.

If you are putting 1/2" pvc over the 17/32" brass, you will need to wrap it in a few layers of e-tape to keep the brass in place.

Sorry to hijack, but what is the point of putting other peices over it? Is for a breech (if it is, then i can understand) or just a nest or something?

Well, If you are using a brass, or petg barrel even, it would be smart to nest it in pvc or something of that nature so that the barrel doesn't get bent during play.

I don't know all the terms yet but I need 2 pieces to make the ammo go into the barrel and the other one to cover the barrel so air wont escape.
