Look around for ten minutes and you'll see that the Recon hit stores more than a month ago.

That trade isn't fair because it's not a trade. You just listed a bunch of items.

EDIT: Now that you clarified your "trade", no. That would be a shitty trade. Mav = $11. Longshot = $30. Secret Shot = $?.

So trade 1 is [(41+?) x t], with t = your local sales tax. Assuming trades to be equal, it should balance like a chemical equation. Trade 2 = [20 x t].

[(41+?) x t] = ~2.5[20 x t]

Therefore, not an equal trade. I'm all hopped up on algebra, so I felt like proving it mathematically.

okay, i know this has been asked a lot, but what does the 2008 lineup for official nerf guns look like? also, would this be a fair trade: 1 longshot (all parts), 1 secret strike, and 1 maverick (blue and yellow)?

I think that last part is a bit of a paradox.

The only things i know of is the office line. They were trying to market to the older audience.

The Recon has already hit the East Coast. And I believe it should be everywhere by now, seeing as, atleast in the past, the East Coast was the last to get new releases.

I believe OMC has said that he will tell us what he CAN. I don't want to speak for him or anything, but I've seen him say something to that effect atleast five times.

Hey, ultra, this is only his first post. I don't think the admins are going to ban/suspend him just for this. The past, what, 3 people in the last 2 days that have been banned have been real bothers. This isn't that bad. he just doesn't know how to use the site well yet. (but then again, part of his question's answer was right on the front page)

No no no, both the "Office Line" and Vulcan came up in that interview of future projects. That does not mean it's going to come out in 2008. It might, but just don't get upset when you find nothing on those this year. It could come this fall, or fall of 2010, no one really knows.

I'm pretty sure Recons are all over the states and I think(?) in Canada as well. Someone from there will have to confirm that one though.

I am Canadian! But yes, you can get the recon almost everywhere here. I went to a couple WalMarts and Zellers, and they all had a couple for $25.

Hmm, you have a point there. I thought it was in jwasko's thread on the hasbro audio clip, but I guess that doesn't mean 2008. Have to say, I'm kinda excited about that Vulcan. I mean, the "biggest, baddest Nerf gun ever"? I expect that to shoot at least a hundred feet Just kidding. Seriously, though, you have to wonder.

I wrote in my summary that, all through the press conference, Hasbro was mentioning that it were aiming toward more than "just filling out next year's toy line" (or something like that).

They said that they would put the Office Tag line on the market at back-to-school time, but I added that this did not necessarily mean 2008 since (like I said before) they were looking further ahead than just next year.

Finally, the Vulcan barely got a sentence's worth of stage time, and no mention was made of when it would be coming out.
