But in all seriousness, ask paintballers for this kind of stuff. Not nerfers. Or at least give us some sort of price range, and things you're using it for (target practice, outdoor, indoor, ect.).

And just a bit of advice, don't post stuff like this. It makes everybody backseat moderate, because for some reason they think they'll get promoted to "Ub3r l337 m0d3ratorz0rz", which ticks every sensible person off.

Depends, do you want to play speedball or woodsball?
if you pick speedball, i have no clue what you should get, there are literally hundreds of e-guns you can buy.
if you want to pllay woodsball on the otherhand, i would recomend the Tippmann A5, its reliable, affordable, and damn hard to break.
You can customize it however you please, and the cyclone feed system is worth the 200 bucks alone, Ive never chopped a ball once.

p.s.-shadowkid33 is right about the ion and the barrel, if you get and A5, BE ABSOLUTLY sure you get a good barrel to go with it, because the stock barrel on the a5 SUCKS, and unless you want a shotgun rather than a paintballgun, get a new barrel (and large gas tank, the a5 is a major gas hog).

No, not really. Get an A-5 for woodsball. It's durable, cheap, and has a good ROF. For speedball, go with an Ion. They're cheap, have a great ROF, but aren't that durable. Regardless of which you get, don't forget a good barrel and hopper.

When I play woods ball, I use my trusty ol' 98 Custom with cyclone feed, rocket cock II, and new barrel. I'm getting a Proto SLG for speed ball. If you want a good electric gun thats cheap, either get the Proto SLG or PMR. Both under 300 bucks both good.

Play airsoft, its much more fun. But really I havent played in forever, the last time I looked was when intimadators were really good. I'm not sure if they even make those anymore. I had an A-5, it was cool, but I sold it. Now they have A-5's with all kinds of lookin crap on em to make them look like real guns, but they look like crap.

Paintball is fun, but it's so freaking expensive! As long as I can get a longshot for the price of one day of paintballing, I think I'd take longshot, such a pain to plan out a day to get all the rest of the gang out to paintball, and have everyone be able to pay their way in. Fun, but in my point of view, it is a sport for the rich. But that's just me.

Only newbs use semi's. I have like $600+ into my ion and don't even use it. I use this instead
