Agents Of Absurdity

Place: A few towns in NYS, and Canada
Characters (basic idea): All characters throughout this project are in one way or another, insane. One is a kleptomaniac, another is severely addicted to food, another is a ditsy blonde with split-personality and rage, etc.
Plot:
A group of agents must work together to foil an Evil Canadian plan to take control of the United States. The Evil Canadians, lead by the trigger-happy Arnold (a.k.a. Shotgun-Arnie) have invented, mass produced, and sold thousands of special machines throughout the United States via the black market, as a means to easily ship them into the country, unnoticed, and spread them all out. These mysterious machines will give the Canadians a major advantage, should they succeed in tracking them down and taking full control of them all (each machine bears a hidden homing beacon). However, a mysterious Evil Canadian spy, working undercover in the United States, has identified a group of specially trained agents that could become a serious threat if they should be made aware of the sinister plot. The Canadian’s best method of lowering the threat is to turn these agents all on each other, which is overall, not very difficult as many of these agents just simply can’t stand each other!
Below is the link to the first scene filmed:
Inconceivable Conspiracies: Scene 3
An entire screenplay reaching a whopping 80 pages in length (not in proper Hollywood-style format, but worth approximately over 120 pages of a Hollywood-style screenplay, as the style used has far less space per page) has been completed and been granted copyright protection. Over 70 people have joined our project, and more join almost every week now. The next shoot is likely to be later this month.
Any questions, comments, advice? Please speak up. Thank you for taking the time to read this, should be my only post anywhere near this long.
Peace.

Wait, what?In before ban.
Yeah, I know there was little use of one in that scene. But that's only one of many scenes, it's not all just about the guns, we use the nerf guns for comic effect, but they are heavily used in action scenes, just sit tight, more will come.Nerf film, where are the nerf guns?!!?

Yeah, I figured the quality of this film would be amusing enough to save you. After about 60 seconds I found that I could take it no longer. You have a few days to convince me you did not just join to plug your film. We don't have any paid advertisements on the site, what would give you the impression we're interested in unpaid ones?
I figured it wouldn't be a bad way to start off here, guess I was wrong. Sorry. I have read mod instructions on this site for several years whenever something that interested me popped up. I just didn't join because I didn't really feel I had anything to share, until just recently. As for "advertising" I just simply felt that a movie with nerf guns as the weapons might just be something that we've all been waiting for. I'm not out to get money, I'm out to have fun, be creative, share it. I am sorry this came off the wrong way.

Production of the first feature-length "nerf film" has begun
Well...you have one thing right there, the First REAL nerf Film, about NERFING and NERFERS has begun production... But Not by you... (yes, all of you who read this, That gives you a small glimpse into mine and falcon's crazy plan. We'll be elaborating on that further soon, trust me.)

You're working on one too? That's cool, keep me updated about it, I enjoy seeing other people doing these kinds of things.Production of the first feature-length "nerf film" has begun

I just wish we already had music for it, but that is on the way, would of helped with a few quiet spots in the beginning, plus just the fact no one even knows what's happened before this scene kind of makes it difficult to enjoy until things flare up between some of the characters. If anyone wants to give any detail about what they may not have liked--and please don't unless you've watched the whole scene, the first 2 minutes are probably the slowest paced moments in the entire script, the movie actually opens with a crazy stalking to chasing sequence, with a lot of Nerf gun use, and hand-to-hand combat, but that scene just simply hasn't been taped yet.

"Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

No, I'm not making something AT all like what you're doing. What those of us involved in this are doing will actually productively add to and aid the nerf community in a positive way, not some lackluster excuse for a Action/Comedy film with a weak gimmic of using nerf blasters for guns, a sorry attempt to try to draw attention from nerfers.
I'm not berating your interest in making a movie, with friends ect, but it's not going to garner our support just because you hand your actors nerf blasters. I definitely believe that lack of any sound design hurts the current state of the production, it can be just as, if not more important than the visuals when making a film. Speaking of visuals, I didn't find them all that stunning, seriously, was that a bathrobe? I assume that you're making this on a very low budget, which is fine by me, I've done plenty of shorts on the budget of what everyone in the movie has in their pockets. but don't try to make a big production out of something that isn't.
It's not really a "nerf film" it's just folks using nerf blasters as the "guns" of the movie's world.

Is it something like this...?
or are we talking more narrative, less documentary?
...all will be explained and properly promoted in due time. I have a meeting with the rest of our production team next weekend, and we'll hopefully set a timetable for when we're going to be ready to go public with what we're doing.

For this we are using two pro-sumer cameras (Sony VX2100s) which do provide about as good quality as you can get from a standard definition camera (don't let youtube fool you, quality gets cut down when converting for youtube streaming purposes). Can't say I've ever seen "stunning visuals" on youtube before, that's what HD trailer sites are for. For sound, we were primarily using a shotgun mic, but we also use wireless mics. We are working on music for it, but that will take a while, we can't infringe on copyrights, that would cause many problems. And yes, that was a bathrobe, I mean really, it's the evening and the blonde is settling down for the night, how is that a bad thing? It's only natural.
