I've been having trouble telling the difference between blue admins (ones whose names are colored blue) and normal users at a glance. Could you possibly make that a dark blue?

uhhhh, no.
If you are unsure look at their user group in a post, or click on the name and check it in their profile. Administrators will read either "Ambassadors" or "Founders".
