"Kanamanableagh"? Is my name really that hard to remember/type? If so, dang, call me Sadness (that's what Kanashimi means) or my other internet name, Ansuz.

Yeah, it would be really awesome if someone can give me a ride. No one else can give me a ride, and I'm too young to drive.

For anyone wondering, I will be bringing an awesome homemade, (if I can figure out how to make the handle and trigger design) a Longshot, (only a NiteFinder spring and AR removal) A Big Bad Bow, (Why couldn't they make a good name for that?(a NiteFinder spring in it, coupler modded, flip barrel, possible NiteFinder integration where the second handle would be)) a NiteFinder, (CPVC barrel replacement, spring replaced with a mav and firefly spring) and if I can get the money and time, Nitemav and Recon.

Dang it! I wanted to use my first post showing off an awesome homemade. Oh well. Since I already used my first post, I might as well start being an active member on this board.

Food: Will not be a problem. I think we should have one or two people make runs to get food and the others can chill at the location.

Trading: I'll post a trading thread a week or so before the war, and give any at the war first dibs.

Game Type: I think we should play death match, Sharpshooters vs, and capture the flag the most. In that order. Also a round or two of pistols only would be good.

Rides: I might be able to pick up someone, but won't know until much closer to the actual date.

Attendance: I might be able to bring my girlfriend (yes, she loves me even though I'm a nerd), depending on when she leaves for vacation with her family, if you guys promise not to ogle her.

Actually, I remember a few of Carrtoon's mods, and his unique homemades. I actually did lurk for a year or two before I registered. I have no idea why I waited so long to register though... Probably because I'm an idiot.

Discuss what we should do most of, and what we should do the least of. Doing this in the thread will hopefully reduce down time at the war. Personally, I think we should do Sharpshooters vs. whenever the tower is available, but otherwise stick to CTF with the occasional round of Assault, FFA and Team Battles.

I like the idea of team battles and sharpshooters. I don't want to play too much capture the flag, but that is just my personal preference. King of the Hill would be cool too.

Attendance:
Looking good. If Messiah and Kanashimi get rides and those in my clan who have committed stay committed, we're looking at 10 (official). Now, if everyone could just get one friend...

Thanks guys on the darts. I managed to cook up about 20 more on my weekend home. Yes, stock darts will do my guns justice. I have crayola nested in PVC in all my guns. It's a bit looser than CPVC.

Another note: there's a very good pizza place somewhere on Snelling. I think it was close to Snelling & Randolph. The trade-off is that it's a sit down place and we'd have less war time, but it is an idea. It's called Grampa Tony's or somethng like that.

It there is no age restrictions, as long as they are mature enough. Also I don't expect others to be able to lend them blasters and darts. Of course this is up to Hilt, since its his war.

Rings:
Grandpa Tony's does deliver/do take out, but I don't think it's the best pizza place around. Of course thats up to you.

Let me get this right for what I'm lending out/selling:
-Stefans for CPVC to Venom
-Stock darts for Rings

Involvement in Central's spring play among other things has hindered me from visiting this or getting on the computer at all for a while. Unfortunately this has also hindered me from finish any of my guy. In other words, they are all in development limbo. This means that I'm probably not gonna come this time, however, I might come to another one, perhaps if there is one in the summer, etc.

Yeah man, everybody should be able to Nerf. Show up anyway. It'd be chill to have as many people as can make it. Reading back through this, the changes that have been made since I've been to the site sound interesting. Should be an excellent war if the weather allows.

Rings: Don't know if I said this already, but if your new 20 and Sam's aren't sufficient, you can borrow darts from me again.

Messiah: I agree with what Sam and Rings said. If he's mature, we won't kick him out. And until we see how he handles loved ones, don't count on any gun loans.

2nd: If the only reason you don't come is because you don't have any guns, then [insert choice insult here].
No but really. That's not an excuse. We'll all have plenty as long as you treat them well.

Everyone:
Should we perhaps have an alternate date in case the weather is not permitting? It's only happened once in our history, but this is shaping up to be a great war and it'd be a shame to dump it because of some silly electric discharge from the heavens above.
That being said, if there's no chance of lightning, would everybody be alright playing in a light rain?

Pizza might be nice afterwards; I guess as for lunch we'll see how everyone is feeling. I like Sam's idea of having a few people run and pick up food, or we could order pizza... there's got to be some place that delivers.

I haven't been able to get on and talk bout the war and I now may not be able to go.

I went into the ER on sunday because I had lower right quadrant abdominal pain. I was hoping for the best and 6 hours later I walked into surgery for Appendicitis. Yes, before you try ti correct me I WALKED into surgery. I am recovering well and hope to be out and back to a semi normal life by tomorrow. However, I don't know if my body can take it!

I want to go to the war but my hole in my side may permit me from coming and shooting my toys with you guys. Again, given recovery time, I may be fine. But as of now, don't count on my being there. I know it sucks. Trust me, its ten times worse from point of view in the hospital bed. I got my IV off a little bit ago, can walk and everything.

So don't count on my being there but if I can, I'll let you know.

Im crossing my fingers too. I hope I can come but the running is what I think might get me. I can walk on 30 hours after a burst appendix, but running might be a bad idea. I don't know yet and will give you a definite answer by the weekend.
