i was going to print off some stickers to put on my guns. i was hoping to get the older nerf logo like on the max force series. i tried taking pictures of the box from a manta ray but i couldnt get it to be good enough to edit. then i wanted to see if it would go into my scanner but i had no luck with that. does anyone have a nice image?

thanks

The chances of one person taking a bomb on a plane are one in a million. The chances of two people taking a bomb on a plane are one in a trillion. So if you're scared of a terrorist attack, bring a bomb on a plane.

Well, hopefully you have a little understanding of photoshop. But you can go to the instructions page at Hasbro, and find a logo on the instructions of a Nerf blaster.

Actually, this gives me an idea. I'll start working on collecting all of the logo versions and making newer high resolution images with the intent to use them for the NerfWiki.
There are 6 that I know of
1969 - Original Parker Brothers Logo first seen with the Nerf Ball
1990 - Revised Parker Brothers Logo
1992 - Classic Kenner Logo
1998 - Kenner 2 (First seen in AirJet Power line)
2003 - Hasbro 1 (ugly caveman letters)
2004 - Hasbro 2 (N-Strike Era)

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

These were 6 different ones that I found after searching through the instructions, but they didn't have anything from the 60s. The first logo was from something in the late 80s, so according to your time line it checks out.

As I said in a previous post, I went HERE and searched through almost every Nerf instruction page copying logo's as I went through them.

Hopefully you can use one of those. Tell me if you want me to upload a larger image to my Photobucket.

The first Nerf product was released in 1969.
Posted Image
The logo wasn't revised until 1990 and you can see the change inbetween the introduction of the blast-a-ball (1989) and the blast-a-matic (1990).
The orange lettering changed to yellow and has stayed that way since then, despite many font and logo changes. Each design has had several different minor background and color mix variations.

I'm going to redraw all of the logos and color them over the next day or two. So if you don't want to bother just wait a few hours and I'll get the classic logo remade first.

I did a vector Spoof of the logo that's on the Crosbow box that says NARF, I could easily re-do the A to an E again, and give at at least a high res version of that one for you.

I just finished anyways.

I probably won't bother with the version that has the mottled background instead of the raster. The mottled version only appeared on the packaging for a few guns and it just looks kind of diseased to me.

Wow, those look great! I can't wait to see what the rest of them look like.

Out of curiosity, where were you planning to put these on the NerfWiki?

I was hoping to update the existing Nerf brand page as well as add a little history section.

Probably no more than a paragraph or two, but now I'll have a nice clean set of logos to go with it.

If anyone wants the uncompressed versions with all of the layers intact just PM me and I can temporarily share them with a free service like megashare or something.

Edit:
Kenner 1998 logo is done

The caveman letters one has more orange than yellow.
We should stop calling out/making fun of/pissing GC off. He's actually contributed and is available for trade. He's a better than average member no doubt. Got your back Cole.

I was trying to minimize its ugliness, but that's kind of hard to manage.
