alright. i finally found 2 big blasts and 2 single teks for 30 dollars at a local toysrus. i singled one with some metal tubing i found and was amazed. i could use it in a war with only 3 pumps plugged. i figured i would make the other one shoot balls now. i figured it could power it enough but was i wrong? or did my barrel just stink? i found some gray pvc type tubing that had a nice fit. but there was a small gap between the ball and barrel. the barrel was about 7 inches long. any suggestions? also i was curious how many pumps i could pump it when plugged. i looked in mod directory at them but found nothing. search didnt exactly help either.

I really wouldn't recommend plugging the pump on your big blast. They have obscene power as it is, and with the weak triggers it's only a matter of time before it breaks. Besides, my brother's non-plugged big blast hits fires dart tag darts 260fps out of the barrel... I wouldn't dare try putting stefans in it and get anywhere near him.

As for shooting balls, you should talk to Baghead. Apparently he knows a lot about it. His FuckingPecan fired them quite well.

Make your thing shorter to shoot your balls because if you don't, it would cause friction and the balls will get stuck and not be able to come out of the hole.

In other words:
Make your barrel shorter to shoot your ammo because if you don't, it would cause friction and the ammo will get stuck and not be able to come out of the barrel.

You're better off using a Titan. Contrary to popular belief the Titan's air tank does hold a greater volume of air than the Blast Bazooka and Big Blast. When using larger projectiles that extra volume of air comes in handy. As far as the number of pumps, don't worry about over-pumping. Pump until it feels like the handle is going to break off, thirty to thirty-five is usually adequate (with the pump plugged).

I can't help you with the Big Blast shooting balls but I can help you with you plugging the pump. Don't do it. My trigger broke at 10 pumps. I had a heck of a time making a new one from scratch and making it work.
