Petg Breeched Big Blast

Just for a try, I put one on my Big blast, which I minimized and plugged the overpressure valve.
I got like 140ft. I was dumbfounded. That is a titan range. It may have been a lucky shot (I only took 1)
That is also a guess, as I dont have a measuring tape that long.
Thanks
It's just screaming to be rearloading...
I seen a movie about that once.

By the way, How did you make it? Sam's way? And where did you buy the other sizes of PETG?

And yes I've done a good deal of experimentation with PETG breech setups.

Ok cut the sarcasm sn1per. I have never heard of a gun getting that long a range, and Im just wondering how its done.
He's joking, buddy. He's taking advantage of our range discussion and using the fact that A. Many new members don't measure ranges, and B. that they use angled ranges, and C. that if they're not satisfied, they lie about it.

Putting VTEC stickers on it and painting it with chrome usually will increase the range ~150 feet. Playing dragonforce while shooting it will also add another 75 feet.Ok cut the sarcasm sn1per. I have never heard of a gun getting that long a range, and Im just wondering how its done.

I believe that painted flames add an additional 10 feet.

Im not sure if anyone has experimented with PETG breeches, but let me tell you right now, they are amazing.

It probably wasn't just a lucky shot. I have a Blast Bazooka with PETG/PVC breech and a LS clip attached to it...you may be wondering why I clipped a Blast Bazooka...lets just say it fires off a full clip in about five seconds (write up soon to follow). Anyway...140' is very possible. With my three foot telescoping brass barrel I can hit targets consistenty from 100'-120'. Angled, I can land a dart in a one yard radius from about hundred yards (rough estimate...plus or minus twenty yards)

I was hoping to have gotten away from the "VTEC Stickers FTW!!!!1!" discussion... NEVER thought I would run in to it here!
I have a 150ft measuring tape if anyone wants to borrow it. It was $15 on sale at Home Depot.
How come no one ever intends to create a pun? Whenever I make a pun it is always intended. There's nothing wrong with puns.

Let's not get into a range debate here, it profits no one. For what it's worth, I don't take ANYBODY'S word when it comes to ranges. Not that many people have a 100' tape measure. This is also why I don't post ranges or discuss them generally. No one measures the same way, no two darts fire exactly the same, and pretty much everyone, including the most respected guys, are full of shit. One guy posted that his LS got 110' and now that's just the standard claim from everyone. Forget the fact that I, nor anyone I know, have seen this occur (and FA had his LS at Apoc). I understand that you need a way to establish how powerful a gun is, but to actually worry about the specific ranges posted on a nerf site is ridiculous. If you really want to know how well it fires either mod it yourself or go to a war and find out. Arguing about it here is a waste of time.

Not to mention that no one truly holds their gun level when they shoot it. Atleast from my experience, I always find myself angling about 5-10 degrees, even when trying to measure "flat". When I actually fired flat it was more like 80 feet (on my Big Blast), and even then it was probably still angled.
Add to that the fact that nobody holds their gun flat in combat, and ranges don't mean anything. Just use a gun in a war a couple of times and you'll figure out how far a gun shoot relative to your position, and as far as ranges go, that's all that really matters.
Here for instance, Starbuck even claimed he got 150'+ with a Titan rocket. It's a rocket. You can't make it go that far. Period.
