Rototrack Chains Question

If anyone has the chains for a Rototrack, could you measure the distance between two barrels? I'm only interested in the chain itself, not center to center from the barrels. I need it for a homemade chain I'm working on.

As close as I can tell, the distance is about 1.15" of space.

That ruler is a piece of shit, though. I can't be absolutely sure.

EDIT: It escaped my mind, but I'm interested. What material are you using for barrels and links?

I'm using the shells of glue sticks. They fit almost perfectly over the plunger head. I don't remember what brand, but there's an inner tube that darts slide right into.
