So, i got a recon today. Yay me. After some close examining, i noticed a small hole and some knobs and stuff in the bottom of the handle. Does every recon have this hole? If so, hasbro is probably making some other attachment that goes into the handle. it may be an ammo holder, but i doubt that because of the clip.

That's most likely just like all the other holes on the other guns. Like the firefly, LS and mave, they all have holes somewhere so you can hang cord or what have you. Ammos not too out of the question. The 10 and 30 packs of extra darts have a clip on there so you can hang it and refill your clips and barrels.

I was talking about the one beneath the handle, but question answered.

It's actually sort of silly having a hole for one dart when you consider the way the gun works. I guess it's for some sort of last-chance holdout shot or something.

It doesn't hold just the "one" dart. It holds the bag with the darts in it via the clip on the bag.

No, you're thinking of the loop. There's also a hole in the bottom of the handle that holds one dart, similar to the way that the battery holders in the nightfinder hold two. Streamlines don't even come in a bag with a clip, just taggers do.

Alice came to the fork in the road.
"Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Well, the hole I think, is for the LS problem. You have to shoot one bullet, for it to not be cocked if you want it to have a ll 12 darts. (hard to explain).

Anyway, with this hole, you can have your clip fully loaded, but when you shoot you can put the dart in the handle.

This is good because it takes streest off of the plastic that holds the spring.

I know that sounded confusing.

I never thought about the LS problem, but I imagined the hole also took into account anyone that used the LS front pistol in combination with the Recon.

So basically you mean put 6 darts in the clip, cock the weapon, release the mag and replace the top round so you have a round in the chamber and the maximum capacity of ammo you can in the magazines?

I know what you mean. Open bolt, put clip in, close bolt. But what if you don't want it cocked? I never leave my guns cocked, unless i am shooting them. The clips go in both with the bolt closed if you push a little harder.

Also, the magazenes can hole 7 darts. Put it in normally, cock it, fire 1, so you have 6 in the clip and it's not cocked.

You're probably all wondering how to get a range of 95' from a mech 20

I was figuring you threw it.
