So I got my RFS and proceed to mod it, when I tried to pry the plunger head off after dipping in in boiling water for a few seconds I did not succed. So I tried again, and again, and again, man that thing was stubborn. Eventualy I pryed it off (or so i thought) but realized that the rod had just snapped off very close to the head. So I am wondering what glue to use to attatch it back on. I was thinking plastic weld or slow cure epoxy. any one else have any ideas?

*edit* oops, I think I put this in the wrong section, I appoligize, Please move if necessary *edit*

It's a distinct possibility. But seriously, that's all you could come up with? You are a terrible Troll.

hmmm, I don't think that would be possible unless I drilled it directly through the head.

That's what I was thinking Dayko, but I am using the stock spring, a LS spring, and some other kind. I dont know If it could take the beating

Depending on what type of Epoxy your using it should take the strength. I know there are Epoxy's that can take 1500 or was it 15000 pounds of pressure, I forget.

It actually happened to me when I replaced the spring on mine. I didn't know to heat it off, so I just cut off the peine in front of the plunger head, then screwed it back on when I was done.

Should warn you, most adhesives are fine for pressure, but not so much for tension. Make sure that there is not too much friction between the walls and the plunger if you decide to only use adhesive.

Use wire, and solder it.

THere's saxynerfer's mod. I'd assume it'd work better than any glue
