If it only doesn't work when it isn't screwed in, then how is this a problem? Just keep it screwed in.

You're reinstalling the other half of the white shroud that goes over the bladder before closing the gun shell right?

This is usually an irreparable manufacturing fault that cannot be fixed. Whenever you buy a magstrike you should try to firing it a few times when stock to make sure it doesn't have this defect.Also, the hiss I was talking about earlyer (sp) was from the clip area, not the bladder.

So, make it like this?Well, you put the adapter into the bladder, and FA said that method didn't work well. You just have to sand down the green nub (the OPRButton) and put glue over it, and sand down the sides of the case.
