Wild Planet has a new "Spy Blaster Trap" thing that you could totally use as some sort of a mine. I think it has built in motion detector...
Here's the amazon link...It's only $15

Fascinating... wonder if any mods could be done on this, I assume the balls are spring powered, like the atom blaster gun. Would be lots cooler if it shot darts too, but that kind of mod probably wouldn't be feasible.

It doesn't seem like a too bad idea, but I saw something else by wild planet that they made similar to this. It's a laser trip wire that when you walk into the beam, a dart blaster thing that you can hide anywhere in the room will shoot the victim. I can't remember where I saw this, but it's a thought. Hope this helps.

Interesting, I bet LARPers would find this of great potential, cool find, kinda.
EDIT: -=VINDICATOR=-: Do you mean this:

When speaking about a swallow, always make sure you know whether it is an African or European swallow. It is very important.

I believe you're thinking of this.
It's a fun toy, but those are also just spring powered plastic darts.

EDIT: Yeah, Blasphemy beat me to it.

If I were you, I wouldn't mess with the mods, or make stupid mistakes like misspelling their names. I mean, CAVV is really tough on that kind of thing

That would be really cool. Nerf has some awesome guns out already. They need to make more gadget type things like a mine.

I went into the choir room today and told the teacher," I can ony sing base" she said," I can fix that" she gave me a prompt kick in the nuts; i've been singing soprano ever since.

If it were outdoors it would be easy to give it a camo paintjob or cover it in camo cloth, then put it by a bush with some leaves or whatever beside it. I would get it if I found it cheap enough in Canada.

Hasbro does NOT need to make gadgets.

Ninjas don't use gadgets. And you know how fucking hardcore ninjas are, so that should sum everything up.
Also, the atom blaster isn't spring powered, it is a push-pull plunger gun.
These, however, are probablly spring powered, meaning shit distance, especially those ports on the very side.

I believe you mean The Reactor. The Atom Blaster gets like 15 ft angled, and also looks like this.

You put the ball in (which also cocks it) and then you pull the trigger.

Anyways, I like to steer clear of traps, mines, grenades and stuff like that. I do use a Foam Sword I got at Dollarama on occasion, but that's different.

I know there are tons of grenade speculation threads out there, but I wanted to post my grenade here as so not to get flamed for either making a new thread about it or reviving an old one.

Pretty much all I did was take a crossfire spring and tape some folded paper underneath it (about 1 inch). Then I stuck that in a small tupperwear, stuffed the rest of the space with small peaces of FBR (No weights) and then put the lid on. wrap a rubberband around it for storage, then when you want to throw it take the rubberband and chuck.
here are some pictures:

And sorry for jacking this thread.

You're probably all wondering how to get a range of 95' from a mech 20

I was figuring you threw it.

Sweet. So does the plunger actually hit the ball, or does it work like a traditional plunger where air pushes out the projectile?

Whoa, I just got an idea that would probably be very unnecessary but really cool!!! If someone got enough of these, they could use it as a boundary line for wars on really big fields. They could just place them in a line somewhere on the outside of the field, and whenever someone goes out of bounds they get shot and out of the game. Doesn't seem necessary to buy that many but it's an idea.

I seems like companies are coming out with things like gernades and mines, but they olny shoot around 6 projectiles. This would be so much better if it shot 20 balls 360 degrees.
