It doesn't seem like a too bad idea, but I saw something else by wild planet that they made similar to this. It's a laser trip wire that when you walk into the beam, a dart blaster thing that you can hide anywhere in the room will shoot the victim. I can't remember where I saw this, but it's a thought. Hope this helps.
I believe you're thinking of this.
It's a fun toy, but those are also just spring powered plastic darts.
EDIT: Yeah, Blasphemy beat me to it.

Ninjas don't use gadgets. And you know how fucking hardcore ninjas are, so that should sum everything up.
Also, the atom blaster isn't spring powered, it is a push-pull plunger gun.
These, however, are probablly spring powered, meaning shit distance, especially those ports on the very side.

I believe you mean The Reactor. The Atom Blaster gets like 15 ft angled, and also looks like this.
You put the ball in (which also cocks it) and then you pull the trigger.
Anyways, I like to steer clear of traps, mines, grenades and stuff like that. I do use a Foam Sword I got at Dollarama on occasion, but that's different.

Pretty much all I did was take a crossfire spring and tape some folded paper underneath it (about 1 inch). Then I stuck that in a small tupperwear, stuffed the rest of the space with small peaces of FBR (No weights) and then put the lid on. wrap a rubberband around it for storage, then when you want to throw it take the rubberband and chuck.
here are some pictures:
And sorry for jacking this thread.

Has anybody heard that he said shot 20 balls 360 degrees yet? Wrong, just wrong.
